Dearest clients,

I am writing to share a bittersweet update. After 6 years serving our community as Rebecca Marlin Pet Care, we will now be closing up shop for our regular client-home pet sitting services. I will continue boarding pets in my home for clients interested in that service, and our sitters will continue pet sitting separately as well (their contact info is included below).

This was an incredibly hard decision to make, as this pet care business has been a true passion project for me, and the business has survived and thrived through all of the ups and downs we've all experienced over the past few years. I have such warm feelings about all of the pet and human clients I've gotten to meet, and I am so proud of the incredible team of pet sitters who have worked tirelessly to serve our clients and keep this operation successful.

The reason I'm closing up is a positive one; I'm currently expecting a third baby this summer, which is wonderful and welcome news. I am extremely excited and I'm so thankful to have had our team's support. However, in addition to managing this business I have always been the primary caretaker for my other two daughters, now aged 4 and 2, and I am unfortunately not able to carry the business while also providing care to (soon-to-be) three little kids.

I know many of you have been with me since before my first was even born! I am so grateful to all of you. I do plan to re-open within the next few years when I have the capacity to do so. I'm sure you will all have moved on to other pet care providers by then, but perhaps we will cross paths in the future :).

In the meantime, we will be officially closing client-home pet sitting services on July 1. I will continue to board pets in my home, for those clients who would like to continue that service. Please reach me at contact@rebeccamarlinpetcare.com for inquiries about boarding.
